An important part
At Brukskyrkan, children are an important part of our parish life. That they feel safe and belong in the church and that they learn about Jesus and are encouraged to have their own relationship with Jesus.
In our parish, we try to focus on three different areas for the children:
- Children's Church: On Sundays during the term we offer children's church for children between 4-12 years old. After a start in the church service with all ages together, the children then go off with the leaders to their own gathering to hear about Jesus in a way that suits their own age. Here we have two age divisions, the younger one for 4 years old - year 2 and the older one for years 3-6. If you are under 4 years old, there is a mini room to play in together with an adult.
- Friday Life: On Fridays, every other week, we gather middle school-aged children for an evening of devotion, activity, and fellowship.
- Camp activities: During the year we usually organize a sports camp, for grades 4-6, as well as some fall break activities during the fall break – one evening for grades 1-3 and one evening for grades 4-6.
