Warm, growing and healing community
We believe that fellowship with and caring for each other is something fundamental in life when we follow Jesus. In our congregation, we hope that you will feel welcome and that you can come just as you are, in the midst of what life is. Of course, we have our Sundays where we meet for church service every week with church coffee afterwards. It is an important place, but it can accommodate many people. We therefore believe in the slightly smaller contexts and also finding a task in the congregation to help with – it could be welcoming as a meeting host, being involved in the technology if you have such an interest, being part of the repair group that does simple work in the church when needed or taking care of the coffee service on Sundays. When you have a task, it is often easier to get to know more people, a little closer. But before you get there, we also have a few other opportunities.
- Prayer: Every Tuesday we have a prayer meeting between 7-8 p.m. Here we pray together for the congregation, our local area and for other current issues. Everyone is welcome here and it will be a slightly smaller context to meet in.
- Wednesday meeting for seniors: Every other Wednesday, seniors meet for Wednesday meetings where there is fellowship and coffee as well as someone sharing a simple devotional.
- Pastoral care: Sometimes there are times in life when we need to talk a little more closely with someone. In our congregation there are several people who are happy to have a conversation with you, when needed. Contact Hanna Brännström, pastor, to get further information about this.
- Community groups: In our congregation we have some groups that we call home groups / cell groups / growth groups. The goal of these groups is to have a closer relationship with each other, to delve into God's word and faith, and to share life and pray together with each other. Our desire is to work for more such groups to be created and functioning. So if you have a desire to be part of such a group, contact Hanna Brännström, pastor.
